Cedric Dent Jr, MSW is a social worker on the ASDID team working to meet the holistic needs of families by connecting them to important resources in the community. Cedric is a 2021 – 2022 Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program scholar. Throughout his LEND experience, he has gained profound knowledge of what it means to address autism spectrum disorder related concerns and how to connect families with resources. His passion for social work is connected to his upbringings — growing up without a father and experiencing hurricane Katrina. Cedric received his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Louisiana University and received his Master’s of Social work degree from Louisiana State University on May 20, 2022.
