Kristen Gilmartin is an Education Coordinator with the Early Head Start Community Childcare Partnership. Kristen earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Education and Special Education from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga. Kristen is a recent New Orleans transplant, having just relocated from Franklin, TN. Kristen brings many years of experience working with children and families in a multitude of capacities. Kristen has supported families both inside and outside of the classroom setting, providing caregiver coaching, assessment, and evaluation, and assisting children with delays and/or developmental disabilities in reaching their goals.

Kristen is excited to join the LSU HSC family! In her free time, you’ll find Kristen exploring her new city with her fiancé and their Goldendoodle, Franklin. Kristen enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and experimenting in the kitchen!
