Margaret “Chris” Champagne, BA

Chris Champagne has a twenty year track record in the UCEDD network. She joined HDC in 2014 and now holds positions with LASARD and LEND. As part of her role with LEND, Chris supports trainees and Mentor Faculty in the development and implementation of a Capstone Project, the program component designed to provide trainees with research experience. Furthermore, her 20 plus years’ experience designing and implementing projects to support teachers of students with disabilities maker her a valued facilitator with the LASARD program. She has a passion for equity and loves problem solving solutions and supports to help teachers succeed in providing students with disabilities the opportunities they deserve to thrive in the classroom.  When not working, Chris loves exercising, spending time outdoors, and hanging out with her cats.
