LEND Alumni Alert: Job Accepted

2021-2022 LEND Scholar Angela Wetzel has accepted a position as a speech-language pathologist in the outpatient setting at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans.

“It makes my heart smile to see our graduates making contributions to Maternal Child Health and disability community. The work is great,” shares Nadia Johnson, LOTR, Louisiana LEND Coordinator. HDC is very excited for Angela and look forward to the difference she will make.

“There is an undeniable inequity of services, policies, and support afforded to individuals with disabilities and their families, and I would love to implement policies in my future career and advocate in the community to address these needs. Ultimately, I have a passion to listen to others’ personal experiences and challenges in order to provide assistance in any way possible.”
