As a fierce advocate for inclusion and family-centered practice, Katie Rambeau. M.Ed. has worked to empower families and promote inclusive education throughout her career. Her work’s focus is educating teachers in early childhood classrooms to effectively support students with disabilities from birth to age 5.
Katie Rambeau is currently working full-time across Human Development Center initiatives: she is the Disability Specialist at Early Head Start Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP), Project Manager of Inclusive Practices in Early Childhood (IPEC), Family Mentor Coordinator with the Louisiana Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND), and represents the Early Intervention field on the Autism Spectrum Disorders Interdisciplinary Diagnostic (ASDID) clinic team.
Katie is a member of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) and the Division of Early Childhood (DEC). Katie’s certifications include: Louisiana Pathways Trainer Level III, Certified Reliable CLASS Observer, Inter-Rater Reliable in GOLD by Teaching Strategies, and Louisiana EarlySteps Special Instructor. She continues the process of learning through frequent on-going professional development opportunities.
