Admission to the Internship Program
Interns will be accepted into the program on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, age, national origin, or disability. Interns are selected based on their potential to benefit from the training program and their potential to contribute to the Program and to the field of School Psychology. For more information about applicant requirements, refer to the APPIC Directory Listing for LAS*PIC.
Louisiana regulations do not allow us to accept applicants who do not have specialty training in school psychology to work in the schools. We can offer internships only to those students who have completed the requisite training in a graduate program in School Psychology. Applicants must be registered with APPIC in order to apply. To complete an application to the LAS*PIC program visit the APPIC Website http://www.appic.org/ and follow the online procedures to complete the application for internship.
